About Us

MISSION

For the Love of Others, Inc is an organization that seeks to empower, enrich and enhance the lives of people from all backgrounds through providing opportunities to enable them to live a purposeful life. For the Love of Others, Inc is based off the biblical scripture John13:34-35 which states “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

VISION

Our vision is a world in which every person attains the right to experience the love of Christ by seeing it demonstrated in others.

MOTTO

Love God. Love others. Serve the world.

MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER:

Lauren Puryear

I am so excited to introduce For the Love of Others, Inc to the world! This mission was truly a vision from God and was inspired by my grandmother, Marion “Nana” Smith, who had a heart of gold and was willing to give her last to help someone in need until her last dying day. Growing up, I always had the desire to serve. I wanted to do anything to bring glory to the Kingdom of God. From buying groceries for a family at Thanksgiving time to living with the homeless in Washington, DC for a service project, I have always wanted to help the world! I am a true believer that if the world would spread more love, the love of Christ, we would be living in a much better place!

So often, we find ourselves complaining about life and taking the little things for granted that we often forget that there are so many people who would love to be in our shoes! I want For the Love of Others, LLC to reach the people who simply need a helping hand to help bring them into a better place; a place of happiness and purpose.

I thank you in advanced for your prayers, donations, and volunteering you time and services to help For the Love of Others, LLC reach its full potential!

Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

In loving memory of Marion Elizabeth “Nana” Smith 1925-2012
