When Lauren turned 29, she set a goal to feed 300 meals to the homeless by her 30th birthday. She was able to meet that goal in just one day by feeding in Baltimore, MD so she challenged herself to feed 30,000 meals to the homeless by her 30th birthday by using a unique skill, extreme couponing. This initative went viral and the hashtag #30kby30 quickly became trending. Lauren fed all over the US and served hundred of meals for little to no money. ​
